too bad the town is the size of my big toe. i drove through this one city in Texas with a fully modded Doge Charger with a blower sticking through the hood. i could spit across the city, literally... it was painted up like the american flag too.

Pretty toy, but how much is enough in regards to street patrol?

Heh, that officer will destroy it. The original article points out that he blew the engine in his Crown Vic. Interesting he already has a prior to his credit. Now, he goes and get a pursuit Camaro, but it doesn't have enough horsepower to his liking so he installed some mods and naawwwwssss. LOL! That is a motor that is dying to blow. We'll see how long Texas taxpayers will accept engine replacements, mods and all.

It's an LS1 w/ nitrous. Properly tuned and cared for, nothing bad would come of it. N20 isn't as evil as everyone makes it out to be ;)

The post claims he wrecked his crown vic, not blew the engine. Doesn?t say how he wrecked it, but considering the department bought him a new car and let him pick it out I'd say it's safe to say wasn't careless or negligent with it. Unless you know of a different article that might have actual facts?

It also claims he got the parts for free from companies willing to "sponsor" the vehicle. Not a bad deal at all.

I see a lot of bad mouthing from people in that thread but interceptor Cameros are everywhere. We've even got one here in good ol' Yuba City. Doesn't sound like any more tax dollars were spent that usual but I won't make too many assumptions and neither should they.

Big time waste of tax payers dollars. Should have been spent on something more useful, such as schools. I can see it now.. Sorry Billy, we can't afford literature books, or school supplies. All the money was used for the Camaro :( But don't worry it will help catch all the criminals with 12 second cars...
