Default DSMTuners really is all about the money

They've got carsponserships.com as a vendor now, what a joke. People constantly bitch about being conned by these guys in the "hangout" section yet Chris welcomes their $500 a pop advertising prices.

    oh well, such is life.

if youre seriously stupid enough to buy into those sponsorship thingies, you dont deserve having a dsm and should be driving a honduh.

i remember a thread on there with a n/t guy asking if he got screwed by them. i remember telling him "you really thing people are gonna sponsor a n/t?". then it got locked by the one and only defiant, aka spring break santa(if youve ever met him in person).

"Keyboard Tuners" has always been a joke, to me at least, just a bunch of people who read stuff here and there and then post it over somewhere else, Just like the V8 RX-7 fourms, tons of people posting wiring tips that are all wrong, like they have never even done them. heck I still remember wiring stuff from the first harnesses I built 8 years ago.
As for getting hooked up now, well I get free Mitsu parts :D

i dont know about that, i learned everything i know from tuners, though i just pay attention to the wisemen or mods, unless the info is coming from someone with a huge mod list and track times 11's or under.

I've been trying to think of a way to scam these guys back.

So far, I've been toying with this idea to form a sponsorship association... that ALL sponsors must go through before they can start offering sponsors to cars, the purpose of this association is ensure that all sponsors have a central pipeline in which to go through to the racing arena .. of course, there is a $1000 membership fee. Going outside the association is of course, prohibited.

If you and I do it, it's called racketeering and extortion... when cops do it, it's called law enforcement.

won't work IMO.Main reason is,you need them more than they need you.And if you form an assoiation and force them to go thru it,there's millions of chumps out there asking to get sponsored without this reqirement.

I'm only interested in scamming them, not making a long term organization. But hey, whoever thought owning your home meant paying some Home Owners Association every month to tell you to cut the lawn.

    its not even worth it.

they prolly have enough lawyers and money to ruin you.

just let them be. dont be jealous cause they know how to work the system. if theres idiots who actually believe them then they deserve it.
