the car is street legal in Illinois and Oklahoma and Florida. wanna know why? no smog laws or state inspections.

I was just going to say that. I don't know where he is from, but I am assuming Jersey. I don't know the emissions laws there, however street legal could just mean non-slicks, non-chuted, and the taillights and turnsignals work. I think thats all it takes in a lot of states to be street legal.
ah dont you love it when the rest of the country says "street legal" than the rest of us cali guys raise the BS flag and say "man that thing isnt close to street legal, street legal still has the catalytics, smog equipment, vacuum lines are right, it passes smog, looks stock engine bay, etc"
that thing is way not street legal here. but oh well, cali sucks anyway.
