Default Do NOT buy cheap silicone hoses!!!!

Just came back from the track with a silicone hose that exploded on my 2nd run....uh yeah, exploded. Apparently the reducers I got weren't reinforced (clear looking tape wrapped around it). I thought when I got them it felt a little flimsy, but thought nothing of it. Boy what a mistake!!!! I'll post pics tonight. Pretty pissed I wasted 45 bucks to run my car pretty much only once.

YAY! I rechecked my pocketloger and it caused me to run 30 counts of knock the ENTIRE 4th gear!!!! Checked my plugs and sure enough! 2 tips completely busted!!! Now I lost 25psi in 2 cylinders!!! F it. Who wants to go with me to the track on Wednesday? I just put on a new hose and gonna try for it again even with the lose of compression. So who's coming with! Show your dsm support!

    Wednesday 5:00pm.

Oh, sorry lee, didn't see your post til now. I bogged my 60' and got like a 2.5 and I didn't hit 4th gear (hit the stupid block between 1st and 4th...) So i was pretty much in neutral crossing the line for about 30 feet. Crossed the line at 13.2@107mph. Got the video, you can hear/see how shitty my first run was...made me wanna vomit after my last 2 runs.

lol.If it was somebody else driving or another car i'd say they couldn't drive, but with as much power asyour'e putting down, maybe you should do a NASA G force program before going at it again! That must be alot of power to handle down the track!

G force program LOL. 8000rpm does come pretty damn quick and its alot hard to stay in your powerband with this turbo then it was with an E16g. More practice...
