a friend of mine got his eclipse for about $100 new, hope you didn't bid on that thinking it was a car, because you just bidded on a cd player with sirius radio capability. :)

100 new? That would get a 3xxx series with 3 volt preouts. Nothing Eclipse audio makes can be bashed on for sound quality but I was aiming higher for my system.

If he got a 5444 for 100 then he should be given an award (and mugged) :)

While I was in Magnolia Audio I saw 2 of these sell for 355 on "Super Discount" because they are last years model.

I just wanted to point out for the Audiophiles. For most DSM applications Pioneer DEH-660 or 760 are more then enough head. (That and you get bling bling Dolphins!) but for the soundwhores nothing beats Denon Eclipse or Clarion.

I had one with a F1 car racing and one with a wakeboarder... I think the wake boarder had the dumb dolphins too though. Some asshole jacked it from my truck along with my PG 1000wt amp :(

DEH-8400 for me. i dislike the dolphins also, as well as every other screensaver but this one thats just a huge tunnel.

yeah i just did a quick google search.

though sadly when i bought that cdplayer it was 750 bucks. then again that was about 3 years ago, and itll prolly stay with the dsm and prolly go into the next car, thats how much i still like it compared to other ones, though the 9300 or whatever(the new one thats like mine) does look very nice.
