Default Looking at a new car

Hey everybody, I have been a little sick lately so I haven't been online in a while. I was on here a while ago talking about getting a dsm for my new car. Now the time has come closer. I thought about getting a civic just for the gas mileage. I am looking at a 91 eclipse turbo 5-speed. It has nice paint, nice interior, 150k on the body, 25k on a rebuilt motor, it has intake, cat-back, hks 264 cams, 16g turbo, turbo timer, safc, boost gauge, egt gauge, new clutch 5k ago, new belts and plugs, maybe a couple other things I missed. It has been on stock boost (like 9-10psi). He will sell it to me for $3200. Now the bad, it needs new rear speakers, cd player, and a/c fan. I think this is a good deal and I plan on jumping on it when I get my money for a car. What do you guys think?

I NEVER believe people when they have a modded car and claim to run stock boost or low boost, especially when he has some high dolor parts like HKS cams. You don't drop $600 on cams and run stock boost

Of course that doesn't mean the car has been beat on too bad. I'd just do a compression test and check out the plugs and make sure it's in decent shape. Probably is. Sounds like a fair deal considering the mods, I'd probably pay a little lower though considering it's 14 years old.

I am not worried if he was running stock boost or not. I don't know why he would lie and get rid of his boost controller (if he had one to run more then stock boost). The motor only has 25k on it he has receipts for the rebuild and that is what is most important to me. I am hopefully going to go look at this car next weekend, it is a 2 hour drive from my house. I get my money on the 21st of June so that week I will have a new car whatever it is.

I am looking for a stock or near stock one but with the rebuilt engine, I want to check this one out. Because if I go find another one the engine will have like 125k on it and this one has 25k.
