What car would you buy for $20K or less for a family car that gets decent gas milage? Better than my full size Chevy that is

I'm going car shopping this weekend and coming home with something but I don't know what I'm looking for haha

its a family car(4dr), gets good mileage, and when the wife and kids arent in it, you can have some fun.

under $20k, good gas mileage and family car.. I'd go with Toyota or Honda..or maybe even a Nissan.

^^^^I agree.....best deal for 20k would be a WRX....even the wagons are kinda cool if you need extra room. They get excellent reviews in Consumer Reports and are very safe.

Those things are fast stock but a customer came into the chevy dealership and he had his supercharged with nitrous. :shock:
