Default My new car won't be a mitsubishi............

BUt heres the next car i'm getting, I don't want to deal with mods affecting the reliability of a car so I'm going to get a car that needs no more than tint rims and my stereo put in.

Yeah I know how you feel... so fed up with your ride that you feel it's time to move on and get somethin that won't give you sh!t all the time. But as much sh!t as Dsm's give their drivers, it's likely some people will just give up on their rides and get something they don't have to worry about... and use their new cars for the sole purpose of transportation (what cars were built for in the first place) getting a nice, comfortable, reliable car will also give you peace of mind. Look how much stress Dsmer's have to put up with
But on the other hand, you're totally giving up a part of your life. I know in my case, my Dsm is a HUGE part of my life. I'm always working on my car in my buddys shop, most of my budget goes towards my ride, I hang out with fellow Dsmer's, go to the raceway and Dsm meets....ect. If I were to give up on my ride cause it gave me too much sh!t... I would have alot more time and alot more money(probably better grades in college too :P) But then I would have to find a new hobby and I don't think I could top the one I have now.
Anyways, up to you... you know what's best for yourself. :P

You kids drive your DSM's like you want them to be race cars and yet still want it to be relyable??? Drive that car above like you drive your DSM and I can guarantee you it will give you hell eventually. I drive my 2g after my motor swap like a daily driver and treat it like one...and have had 0 problems since.

Fast, Relyable, Cheap...pick 2, the one left is what it WON'T be!

kids?? cmon now manny your like a few years older than me.. but ya if you drive your car like an @sshole then the things gonna go to hell. i drive mine like a "quicker" daily driver and it has given me 0 problems as well. any problems were do to my neglagence. and man if you want to get a cadi think again because those are problematic as well. i know of a few guys that had them and after like 100k you start to see many problems.. mainly overheating.. well good luck with the GM but dont blame the dsm for problems

After Ive fixed all the things that were neglected from the previous owner my car is finally solid. Though its only been like 6 months if even that. I granny drive the biatch everywhere. It should last me a while. Though I did get a brand new mitsu remanned shortblock with 0 miles on it :).

I just need something that won't break down on me because I have to get to work. And I would be less likely to speed in an sts (even though it a v8 8) ) I still might pick up a dsm as a second car though.........maybe.
