Riiiight  The only way the Eclipse coupe would reverse anything is if they start putting back the 4g63 powerplant and awd drivetrain; which will never happen now that the EVO is here. Shame...

They need to fire their design department. While I do like the new look for the Eclipse it was released to late for anyone to be excited about. Lexus, Infinity and Audi beat them to the punch with it comes to that look. They are still under powered and I agree with mygst95, they need to improve and bring back the AWD.

They'll never bring back AWD for the eclipse. Why make a car that competes with their own Evo? They probably won't even bring back a turbo for the eclipse. It'll end up being a hybrid car that gets 60mpg.

well you guys do remember the concept of the 06 eclipse, right? dual engine awd 450hp. it's like 200 some odd hp until the electronic supercharger kicks in on the back motor.
they should've put it out like that exactly.

nope, Mitsu can not drastically improve on the EVO and still sell it in the states for under 35k (all Alum. body!!!!!)
Even if the new Eclipse came with a 4g turbo and AWD I would never think about buying one over an EVO even if it was 15k!, The EVO is just that good, and thats not just my opinion, thats everyone who has ever been behind the wheel of one.
