    Default Import Haters.....

Wut do you guys think about import haters? You know those stupid ppl who like only support muscle cars...i got pissed off at this one guy 2day so thats im postin this. Keeps talkin crap like how US cars were way faster than imports back in the 60s and 70s and that there is not much difference now. stupid shit like a vette could beat any import on 1/4 mile drag anyday....and like how the bigger the engine the better...anyways, just wondering wut you guys think about a$$es like these

Just tell him this............as of now most "US Domestic" cars are made in Mexico with Korean parts!! and Most "Import" cars are made in the U.S...with Japanese parts shipped over here on a turtles back.

I might have to agree with him to some extent, Every Time I see a black Eclipse with a unpainted body kit Zip tied onto it I want to ram the thing with my truck and put it out of its misery!!! But then I see a nice clean"Import" with wheels that have the right offset/tire size and a a few well placed stickers (like the recaro stickers on the EVO's)
I hate 99% of all aftermarket body kits! Auto manufacturers do not spent Millions of dollars every year to make ugly or plain looking cars, some do need a little help some need more (92'-94' Lasers!!)
They don't even have to be fast just make it clean and well exectued........(a 2' high spoiler is not clean and only deserves a spot on a GT cup Porsche)
    But FASTER is ALWAYS BETTER.

i have to agree with him too on the part of the 70's and such.. back then some american cars came out the factory with 450 hp and such.. like the buick gs-x (no not the mistu gsx  ) .. correct me if im wrong.. but i dont recall any azn car puting out anywhere near that amount back then.. but as for now.. id say they are about even... imports are just as fast as any domestic aftermarket wise.. if you are counting out of the factory then american cars still own imports... cause out the factory you can get a c6 vette.. srt10 viper.. 04 cobra.. and more that can all hit high 12's stock... i dont know any azn car that can do that out the factory :?

I was on the LS1tech.com forums and OMG, what a bunch of shit talkers!!! A lot of these guys were older too and just talked non stop shit about anything that didn't have an LS1.

That good ol' 600 whp evo vid made it over there and almost all of them talked shit about it saying stuff like "if the SS had a turbo" or "if the SS had that much money into it." Then the SS owner from the video came on and said "it wouldn't matter if I had a TT kit or that much money in my car period, I spin tires now and it would only get worse, AWD rules the streets"

In the big scheme of things...........who really cares where the car is made. You are mostly showing your level of intelligence when getting into an argument like this or even getting your panties in a bind about it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Bottom line is you still have to be able to drive a car and I personally don't think 85% of people even really know how to drive.
