Thread: Sac Cylinder Heads Shall Feel The FURY!!!! Long Rant

Ok...I posted about it a while back but here's the short version and a wonderful update.

Short History
-Brought Head to them 15Dec04
-Was told it would take 3 days to do my port/polish/oversized valves
-Goto thailand around 5Jan05 (Head still not done)
-Hear from roommate that they say that the head isn't usable and qoute me 125 for a new bare one
-Get back from Thailand 7Feb05... Call them that day. They aren't sure yet
-Three days later qoute me 175. F*#@! Fine.....
-I've called every monday wednesday and friday since and have been told varying excuses ( I think they've told me that they were working on the valve seats 5 different times) and that it'll be done in 2-3 days


Update
I call them today
after being told 2wks ago (before I had to go to louisiana) that I should give'm a call around noon (the day before I left for two weeks). Well I couldn't make it out there so I think to myself "I'll probably just get told the same thing and be pissed"

Here's a little version of my conversation....
Me-Hey tell me I have a reason to come out there
SAC- Well I finished my part of it um.....I gotta see if the guy that was supposed to take care of the exhaust seats is done. Call me back in an hour
Me-Alright man....

Call back
Me-Tell me some good news
SAC-When did you want to come out here.
Me-Today
SAC- Can you come by tomorrow afternoon. It should be done by then. He's still gotta work on the.....
Me- Sigh....F*#@'in A man.
SAC- Well I'll be heading out your way saturday (Suisun Area)
Me- Listen I've been pretty cool about this right?
Me- It took you two and a half months to figure out you couldn't use the first head then two and a half to f*#@ around with this one. I could of melted a bunch of aluminum cans together then used a F&*kin nail file to do this by now. Dont expect me to pay what we agreed on when you said it would be done in 3 days. I told you that the head being done is the only thing keeping my car stuck in the garage and has me driving a F*#king KIA. I'll be there tomorrow afterwork... so get it f*#king done. CLICK


So Sac cylinder heads will have a visit from me tomorrow... I wont even have time to change after work. So if you hear about some guy in camos attacking someone with a die grinder. You'll know I dont have my head

What do you want them to do.... Be very specific so I can translate. Shantel couldn't explain it very well.

Funny, that head you have there is one I gave Jeff. that place does all of out basic head work for our customer stuff.

I am over there almost once a day to drop off and pick up stuff, and I remember your original post a while ago and I remember asking jeff once when he was STILL working on your head, I was looking at the casting you had given him and is was garbage so I told him I have a couple of virgin castings back at the shop (notice how your head looks like new).

Ah well good that he finnaly got you dialed in
He means well, that place is always super busy, but he should'nt have put your job on the back burner.

Yeah he's a good guy but dont tell me it'll take 3 days if it's really gonna take 2 months cause you are busy. Oh well all is done. I'm happy with the finnished product. Just kinda reminds me of RnR..... Slow as "fudge" to get what you order from them but quality and price are pretty damn good.

Mind asking what you ended up paying for? And for what job? I might need a head rebuilt here..
