    Default MSD DIS-2

I'm looking at the MSD DIS-2 for my car. just wondering if you guys think i should get one or not?
also, what spark plug wires do you all recommend? I'm still running stock ones and i figure it's time to upgrade. Magnacore 8.5mm's are the ones i'm looking at, but i hear they have a sealing problem. So my second choice would be Taylor or NGK wires.

Your super60 should be able to handle 400-500hp depending on tuning. I say your money is better spent elsewhere cuz as Mike said, stock ignition is really strong from the factory. And if you stick with stock, I wouldn't recommend wasting money on Magnacraps. Overprice POS's in my opinion. NGK factory replacements work very well, if not going straight OEM. I myself am planning on running a COP system so I never have to replace wires again...and it looks sexy lol.

Do you have cams? I wouldn't get cam gears til you get cams, cause you're not really going to adjust the stockers that much...

Have you checked to see if they even need to be degreed? Most of the time, there's not enough of an adjustment needed to require $200+ cam gears. Most of the time people just get them and set blindly just to say they have them

nah they don't need to be degreed. i'm just bored and wanting to buy some car parts.

i think i settled on a timing belt kit so i can change my timing belt. might as well cause my motor is being rebuilt. i also got the SS clutch line cause i don't like the mushy feeling of my ACT 2600 sometimes and then it gets all hard, and then it goes in between. never consistent because the lines, no matter how many times i bleed them, always manage to get air bubbles again. also got a turbo timer and harness. figured with as busy as i'm going to be when i get back home, i don't want to sit there in the car when i'm running back and forth doing stuff all day for work.

There are quite a few people who run MSD ignition not because they need the extra power, but rather some of the features it offers.

However, not knowing anything about these features I cannot help make a recommendation for you, Rich, but I can think of plenty of other parts you would benefit from.
