Installed Tein H-tech springs and Tokico Illumina shocks. Dropped the car about an inch and made it 100 times more fun to drive. Looks a little better too.

And here's the original monster truck wheel gap:
Not a major difference but I think it looks better now.
defenetly looks better
and whats with you and the bypass/hicktown?
that looks really nice. wish i could drop my car just an inch.
Why couldn't you? body kit too low already?Originally Posted by asianjack
yep. back kit is a little to low. if a 170+ person sits in the passenger side, it scraps everywhere.Originally Posted by 98spydert
Looks nice and soon it will settle lower! The lower the better :)

man that definately looks better. how much did it cost you for all the parts? i want to go the same route with a 1-1.5" drop, i was gonna do eibach prokit/sportkit(whichever one is the smallest drop) and some koni shocks. but seeing yours makes me think about altering my plans. the illuminas are adjustable right?
Thanks man, yeah I'm really happy with this set up.
The illuminas are adjustable and I got them from an ebay vendor actually. He had the cheapest prices and they shipped from Reno so it only took me like 2 days to get them from when I made the payment. Very happy with that guy. Here's his ebay store. They ended up being like $355 shipped which is dirt cheap.

The springs I got from 9 second racing for about $150 but they've went up in price a little so they're $176 now.

Also a little follow up. The springs settled to about 1.25" drop over all and maybe a hair lower in the back because of my stereo gear. I had an alignment done and toe was adjustable to spec of course and camber wasn't effected that badly in the front (with in spec) and only slightly out of spec in the back by like half a degree. Caster is also within spec in the front. N/A in the back. Caster and Camber aren't adjustable fromt he factory so lowering our cars is always a concern. There's no need for the pricey camber correction kits though, at least on my car with these springs and shocks..
