    Default Timing Belt Job

    Sooooooooooooo........

    im at 116,400mi and approaching the 120k mark fast now that i drive 50mi daily. Need to do timing belt asap, what all should i replace?

    Off the top of my head:
    Timing belt
    Balance shaft belt
    tensioner
    tensioner pulley
    idler pulley
    water pump


    and no, no BSE! and no, not taking off the head either and doing arp's/mls-hg.

    if your driver side motor mount is starting to go out like most do, and you want a stock replacement not polys rockauto.com sells them pretty cheap. i think someone on tuners got all 4 motor mounts for like 80 bucks.

    do both the tensioner pulley and the idler pulley

    this car will likely never see boost levels over 20psi, if that. Looks like itll be staying a DD so i dont see it going past the 14b levels.

    doenst leak; head/vc aint coming off so no point in replacing.

    plus when i do get my hyundai vc painted, i already have a new vc gasket for it.
