Thread: Pocket Dyno/Sac Track Day?

Okay, so I got this app for my iPhone to try out (just the demo) and I did a quick run tonight (ran out of room before the 1/4 so I only got an 1/8th time) and was curious to see how close to accurate it really is. Now, based on this:

It looks pretty damn close... based on that, I'd like to go to the track Wednesday (tonight) and see how close it really is.

Here are my numbers:

Car 3200lbs (guesstimate)

Max Accel: .96 Gs
Max Power: 428whp
60' time: 1.89 secs
330' time: 4.98 secs
1/8th time: 7.42 @ 103.41
0-60 time: 3.46 secs

Based on these numbers, I think I will need a helmet to run in sac. I do not have an SFI approved helmet, just a motorcycle helmet. Can't afford another helmet right now. Was wondering if anybody has a small or medium sized helmet that they could lend me for a run or two. I'd like a real timeslip for this car

Also, just for bench racing purposes, how do you think those numbers hold up?

Yea, but 14 sec 1/4 doesn't sound unreasonable, and sac requires a helmet for that... which was the main purpose of this post... anyone?

the hp seems to high... I used dynolicious on my iphone it only gave me 251hp and im running a 14b at 14psi...but im only fwd...lol...with tgat much hp u should be in 12's

7.4 @ 103 is retarded fast for stock boost MBC lol

last time i went i was getting 8.0's at 103 i think and i got 12.3@ 118 lol

so i dont think you are running 7.4's
