Default Had a DSM flashback.. Leaky transfer case..

Brand spankin new Ford Escape Hybrid hit the shop for a leaky transfer case..

Supposedly bad seal on the output to the driveshaft.. HRM.. Im getting all kinds of DSM flashbacks right now..

Thought I left this crap behind when I sold my last DSM!

(Which was on its 3rd T-case by the time I sold it.. Although the second one I broke without the help of any leaks)

Ah its hit or miss with ford..

Ive personally owned 2 fords that made it to 300,000 miles without any major service.. No engine or tranny issues untill the end..

Tranny went on both of them right around 300,000 miles with the engines still running strong..

I have a Lincoln with the DOHC 32 valve 4.6 with almost 150,000 on the clock with no issues.. knock on wood..

Then they release cars like the Focus which earned itself the distinction as one of the most recalled cars in history..

Well that and they killed a few people with their tires.. but hey whats a few people here and there.

Well look at their cars from '00 to '08, i dont remember exact numbers but its something like 10 million cars recalled by ford? One that i remember is Explorer recalled for super heating seats, they burn your a$$, lol wtf? i dont really have any good views on ford, all i hear is negativity. I also dislike their style of making cars, i had to deal with a few fords in my short life and how they are made is just ridiculous. But thats just me.

    All manufactureers have their recalls..

Shi!t right now toyota is getting recalling over 500,000 corollas and matrixes

Something about exploding windows causing injuries and accidents.. heheh

All the domestic manufacturers top the list but Toyota and Volkswagen have joined up..

Toyota now has the distinction of recalling every model vehicle they produce..
