Well here's what I've been up to these days. Doing a full EVO4 conversion. Everything you see is OEM! No fiberass.

Bought this CF hood, but sold it in favor for a REAL aluminum jdm hood:






AND what it looks like today (waiting for oem fogs from the UK and paint)











I have the wiring for the engine swap all figured out. But I think it will have to be in FWD mode for a long while until I can find someone or a shop to help me fabricate the rear sub and gas tank. I unfortunatly dont have a welder nor any proper training. Update when i get it painted and whenever the engineset goes in.

thanks. I have a contact at JHOT texas, who tells me when containers arrive from japan before shops or ebay gets dibs. But you won't BELIEVE how difficult it is to get this stuff. People in Japan, UK, and the rest of asia keep this stuff for themselves to do conversions on their lancers...so we're lucky to get ANY oem evo 456 stuff here.

You can get wrackt EVO 8 for $5000 so you can have all parts you need to make it happend :D

damn you got that trunk off CL? i saw one on sale a week ago. Anyway i used to have a little mirage too and wanted to that and put a 4g63t in there but had to sell it... cant wait to see how yours works out... your going with a 4g63 right? :D

Naw but I did sell one of my mivec clusters on CL :) The engine set is going to be an EVO4 set with the AYC rear. 2k vs 5k with no AYC...though the evo8 heads would be better.

Old evo stuff is soo rare, especially here is states.

edit: i see theres a front mount... is it just for looks? or if not why isnt there a pic of engine? :)
