When I was searching for my setup I kept hearing negative things about the A1000. Pretty much common consensus is 233 Walbro in take with a Bosh044 inline.

Having installed the a few of these the things are SOOO LOUD it will drive you crazy!!!

they drown out the engine they are so loud, even if you rubber mount them its not much better,

I stuck with building a hangar on the stock fuel sender unit to hold two 255's and run a Y with two -6 to a single -8 for enough fuel to support 600 or so hp. and it was still very quiet

    Plus those a1000's are $400

It will work just fine, if you can get past the noise.

Or run two of those bosch pumps, if you plan on driving it around.
