Thread: Where to find 2G DSM AWD shells?

Hey guys I know this isn't the wanted section but I was more or less trying to get basic info than simply asking for a shell.

I know a couple of guys have ended up with some GSXs as of late and it got me thinking about finding one as well...

I love my 1G Talon and I still believe that the 1G Talon is the most badass DSM period, Guys like EagleClaw, Jake Montgomery, Bushur, Shep etc etc have only cemented that into my head but I want something a little less dated.

1Gs make badass toys but my car is my daily and I think I'd like a little more flash.

I haven't decided if I am going to part out my Talon and then buy a 2G with the money and build it from scratch, but thats all depending on how much a GSX/ TSi AWD shell will run me.

I don't care for 2G Eclipses since everyone one and their mom even if its a Talon runs around with a Eclipse bumper so it will definitely be converted into a Talon reguardless of what it starts off as so thats not an issue.

If someone finds me a 2g laser I'll give em some extra cash. :P

But let me know guys. Where were you guys finding your 2Gs. A shell is fine, and if it isn't runnign thats even better because there's no way in hell I'm building up a 7 bolt. Also I don't mind if it is gutted becasue I'll be gutting it to cage it anyways.

PS I have been checking craigs and ebay but no luck so far. I'll have it shipped for the right price and if it is in Cali I'll pick it up if need be..

Are you looking for 2g? if so i saw a silver, gsx im sure it was, on craigslist, no engine, and everything else is intact. It was about $1750? ......damn ive seen it many times but now its gone, sry.

You couldn't pay me to own a FWD DSM...

I'm just tryin to start up my next DSM, I'll be putting the 1Gs engine in it and using it as my daily/fun car.

There is too much into the 1G that I'd ahte to goto waste such as the brand new transmission and suspensions o I'd probably keep it, gut it tp the sheetmetal and use it as a weekend only car.

If anyone see anything for an ALL WHEEL DRIVE 2G DSM odn't care what year or condition. Just needs to be a rolling chasis. I would love for it to haeva transmission and a sunroof but if not, I can find that crap. If its a Talon to begin with it'll save me the effort to convert it, but again its not a priority.

I think Manny knows best what condition I'm talking about. The way he got his would be perfectly fine. Clean titles preferd. Thanks.

Mods can you please change the title to read "AWD" 2Gs.. I can always convert a GST but It would have to almost be free to make it worth it. :P

You're going to need all the AWD stuff. No. You'd need everything. Basically it's just a body, but it's a Talon, and I have both front and read talon bumper covers still. Also got the taillights and talon centerpiece. Would like to keep the GSX stocker rims, but you could use them to move it (I was just about to pull them off and put it back on blocks too!)

Ouchies no AWD parts = es muy trabajar :cry: Lol I rather have to convert it from a GSX to a TSi. lol Plus if its a 2ga I'll be doing a 2gb convert still.
