    dont ask what happened. am parting it out. gonna build an ls1 starion.

    Damn...Glad your ok though. Sorry to hear, that thing was a beast. Whenever I start my LS1 240Z project, I might have to hit you up for some pointers...

    Damn you were our hero man. Sucks to hear the bad news. You being alive of ocurse is key. The Starion will be badass.. Jon never did his so hopfully you can carry that on.

    As for the lsx Starion, I can point you in the right direction for the front end stuff when you are ready.

    Just get ready for ALOT of fab work!!

    thats weird cause theres already one up here and he said it was much easier to build than some of his other cars.

    Well let me put it this way, to do it the RIGHT way it involves alot of suspension/steering work,

    he must have flipped the struts around backwards and ran a steering box up front,

    I was going to build my own front end with tubular control arms, rack and pinion, and brakes that actually work, starions have those junk captive rotors/spindle/knuckle set up It was just too much work for a car that would be worth only what the engine cost to build.

    Good luck though,

    Build a L92 427 with the Holden intake and 90mm TB, cost about $6500 and makes 610 crank hp on the motor alone!!

    not a bad idea. shoot me a pm about what suspension i should be looking at.

    Sorry to hear what happend to your car man :cry:
    Why dont you go with supra or skyline motor or even better BMW M5 motor with 4 VANO's
