    Default Guns n S%&t...

Ok so I know there are a few firearm owners on here....(cough) Lee.. HAHA

    Here is my question...

I was just paid for a job with two hand guns, a Tarus PT 99 9mm and a SIG P220 .45, both totally legal I just did the tranfers,

The 9mm came with (6) 15 round mags and the p220 is pretty much new in the box, also got some Black Talons for both which I hear are umm....you know.

If I buy "parts" for these do they also have to be shipped to a gun store for holding??

    Thanks

    What "parts"?

Lee would have a better answer, I'll check with my dad though, he's pretty up on the gun regulations and such (You think Lee's got a few guns... )

6 15 round magazines?!?! damn! I dunno what the restrictions are now, but before the assault rifle ban expired, you couldn't get those. I still don't think you can buy them in the state of california (new. If you have them from before they're granfathered in, and therefore okay)

    Jonathan,

no, the parts won't need to be shipped to a dealer. as long as it doesn't mention anything about the dealer, you'll be fine. i have lots of rifles to include some assault rifles and hand guns.

Those 15 round mags are illegal in CA unless they've got a production date stamped on them that's 1994 or ealier. Not a big deal really, just don't take them anywhere for target practice where cops practice! Cause they'll probably walk up and ask where you work lol. Unless the part is an upper or lower receiver that has a serial number on it, they can be shipped straight to your house and no one will ever track them or anything.

I like the 220! Nice pistola. I just bought a PT111 Pro like two weeks ago. It's the sub compact 9mm with 12 round mags. Nice pistols with a lifetime warranty through Tarus!

Hey Rich, don't get caught with any CA defined assault rifles thinking they're legal because you're out of state military or on federal land. Been there, done that... CA DOJ says hell no.

Those are pretty freakin sick. The class 3 dealer here who I get my suppressors though has a bunch of PS90s and 5-7s. I'd love to have that combo.
