Default Brake project and gauging interest

Picked up some 3000gt VR4 calipers from Doug (thanks man). Anyway, I'm having a shop up in P-ville make some adapter plates based on the blueprint on Dsmtuners. I figured I'd ask to see if anyone else is interested while I'm submitting the design. Please keep in mind that the brackets I'm having made will be designed to fit 13.5" Cobra Rotors, so if that's to big for your wheel setup or you dont want to use spacers, then you should skip these plates. I'll be posting details later for anyone interested.

    Here's some cleaned up shots:

Think they'll run under my 18" fn01rcs Manny? I've got a GSX to play with now, brakes would be a nice first mod.

Savo's right. The VR4 calipers are 4 pistion. The GSX and 3000gt SL N/A is 2 pistion.

LEE! When did you get a GSX?! Sweet man, I can't wait to see it, hopefully you bring it down for the Sac-Dsm reunion lol. I should have mine up and running again so it should be pretty sick to see all 2g's gathered around again. I haven't seen 2 2g's parked next to each other for about 3 years now lol (not counting Savo's Garage) :P But I think the top of the caliper will definetly clear, its just how thick of a plate you use. I'm using 3/8's just in case, though they say the thicker the better, I really don't like spacers unless I absolutly have to. If your interested though, I'll be getting prices soon. Maybe we can get a discount if we can get 10 pairs made.

I was trying to sell the 2.4 I got from dirty... then I realized I would rather just buy a car to put it in haha. I wrecked my bike last week thanks to another rider dropping in front of me while riding outside of his ability so while the crotch rocket gets new fairings and a hand full of mods including a full titanium Akra exhaust  (and my broken shoulder heals :? ) I needed a new toy to play with. I'll post some pics up soon, it's going to be quite the street car and painted black to match the rest of my fleet :p. Those VR4 calipers and some Cobra rotors would look sick behind my beloved 5 zigins. Let me know what you find out man.

2g is not havy as 3000gt so those calipers will stop 2g mutch better than 3000gt.

Those won't fit under my 16" rotas will they? I might be interested later, when I can afford wheels, but if there is a volume discount, I might get the brackets now. Let us know what the costs are going to be.
