    Default no bueno :(

its been a while since i've posted anything so here ya go.

this happened in august. my sis was driving home from work in folsom and was stopped at a light. a ford bronco didnt stop in time and hit a dodge ram, forcing the ram into the back of my eclipse. this pushed my sister into the suv in front of her. the front was somewhat minor compared to the back which was efft. luckily the person in the dodge ram was an off-duty highway patrol officer, so the accident report clearly stated that the bronco was at fault.

after arguing with the other guy's insurance, we were able to get the car fixed under a clean title (not salvage title). lucky for us since the car is a 95. the body shop had to cut part of the back end out and replace it. i still have to go back to that body shop because some idiot wiped corrosive shiet all over the passenger headlight, so its really foggy.

Damn that looks awful! It's wierd how it worked out that the guy was an off-duty cop. That oddly worked in your favor haha. Glad your sister is OK though, coulda been worse! Post some pics of the restoration if you can, I hate seeing 2g GSX's in such bad condition :cringe:

yea, the car is pretty much fine now, but the paint job on some of the repainted areas looks crappy. its a white car though so you can only really see it up close. other than that and the headlight i mentioned, for some reason, the painter decided to just paint over the metal veilside emblem that came with the front bumper (it sits in the main air duct right in front of the intercooler)...
