    Default 07 ZX-6R

Got a 600 finally, picked up a new 6R yesterday. Solid black to match the truck and boat lol. It's pretty fun even though it's no where near broken in. I'll post some pics up soon :D

    Congrats,

A friend of mine has the older ?05? 636 6r, the front end feels like it wants to fight you though when you lean, it wants to stear for you and over does it,, feels like the angle for the forks just isnt right, does yours feel like that too??

I have a 07 zzr600 which is the same bike as the even older zx-6r (Prior to the 636 zx-6r) and mine handles like a dream, though a considerable difference in torque from the 636 zx-6r

I road an '06 636 for a while and it felt ok. The "re-engineered" '07 rides like a dream. The thing rides itself, it feels great. Breaking it in is a little hard though lol, it's hard to keep it under 4k rpm for the first 500-600 miles. I've heard of a "hard break in" but I'm just going to take it easy for that first 1k miles and get used to everything around town. I'm in heaven on a track but around town scares the shit out of me because so many people on the road are stoooooooopid. I mostly just take it to work which isn't bad, then turn for the hills in the evening and cruise around to put miles on it.

The ZZR is nice, I was considering it. It wasn't on sale though and I got the 6r at $7800. I didn't want a carburated bike and it was only $500 more than the ZZR rather than $1700 more at normal price so I got the "super" bike lol as Kawi calls it. Couldn't be happier, it's a blast.

I know what you mean but this thing isn't getting modded much, just a two bro's exhaust with fender delete, -1/+3 sprokets, and smoked lenses/shield. I'll keep it mild and get a 10R, CBR1000RR, or go crazy and get a 1098 in a year or two when I want to go faster and faster. I'd like to have a few bikes anyways.

I have a few friends with more than one bike and they both prefer their 600's over their larger bikes

If i were to buy another bike i would definetely get an R6 those are nice!
