    Default Looking for bumpstops locally.

Alrighty guys, looking for another part now. This time, I'm looking for the bumpstops that go on the shocks. I have KYB AGX's with Eibach Pro-Kit springs on my white 1gB. Apparently, there are NOT bumpstops in there right now (bought them almost brand new)

The ride is pretty harsh and I can probably trace it back to not having those bumpstops in there.

I want to install the bumpstops in there this weekend.

Is there a way I can check my shocks while they are in the car? Push down on the car or something?

Is it really this rough of a ride without bumpstops?

Anybody know where I can find some new/bearly used bumpstops locally?

Will these bump stops from Kragen work?

I didnt find anything pre-made for our cars locally so i fabbed my own..

Pep boys carries Energy suspension universal bumpstops..

THey are a cone of urathane with a captured bolt on the bottom..

CUt the bottom half with the bolt off.. THen drill out the core and slide it over the shaft on your strut..

The cone is stepped so you can cut away the steps to "tune" the length of the bumpstop..

    It worked great for me.

Ben, how much did you end up trimming off of those universal Energy Suspension bumpstops to make it work?

I'm running KYB AGX's with Eiback Pro-kit springs.

    A better question would be:

How tall are the stock bumpstops?
