Yup thats right I cant drive for shit here are my times for Tonight, all runs between 18 and 21 psi on current setup running pure 100 octane

12.431 @ 111mph <--- Launched hella late do to retard move w/ e-brake still on 1.9 something on 60 foot
13.2?? @ ???mph <--- The guy in the staging area was yelling at the guy next to me I wasnt paying attention and looked up and had a green light, I bogged the launch while freeking out and was over heating and hitting a ton of knock

12.7?? @???mph <--- Slow ass 60 foot didnt get a good launch at all

13.6?? @112mph?!?! <--- dont remember exactly BENGSX has my time slips to scan them I missed 2nd gear really bad here and still ran at like 112mph, this would have been realy low 12's run (Temperature outside dropped, car was running strong)

I cant drive for shit, and still pulled those times,, there were 2 cars out there running 11's caged (Pushrods) and maybe 2 other cars trapping lower 12's than me, I only remember 1, but probably 2. There were maybe 150 to 200 cars out there tonight, and i was easily in to 5 or atleast to 10

all this w/ almost 0 tuning and what was done was done w/ data logger and narrow band o2, and all my 60 foots suck bad,, lowest was 1.9 highest was like 2.1 i think

First time his talon has ever been down the track or run more than 15 lbs of boost (after a coupla hours of me tweaking on it)


He runs a 12.431 @111 MPH..

Soo.. 12.4 running about 17-18 lbs of boost on an e3 16g for a first run down the track ever aint bad..

Plus he has some room to makeup on that 60'.. I was ripping off hi 1.7'a to low 1.8's on a fidanza flywheel.. He has a slightly heavier act flywheel AND A STROKER..

he should hit LOW 1.7's.. (Ive driven the car.. its definitely a 1.7 60 foot car)

PLUS!!!! STOCK DOWNPIPE!!!! AAAHHAHAHHHAHHAHAAH

12.431 on a stock downpipe and 17-18 lbs of boost....

Some of his other runs actually were faster on the trap speeds.. but he had some kinks to work out on the launch and shifts..

Id say even with that stock downpipe his car should be capable of 12.2-12.3 range..

We are DEFINITELY going back in a week or 2 when we get that bigger downpipe in..

HAH and lifters.. AND shifter bearings.. That car wasnt even READY for the track..


* Edit.. - hes OUT of injector.. His 660's are maxed the F out.. Bigger injectors and that downpipe are all thats holding him back from even better numbers..

I think installing the bigger DP, bigger injectors, learning to drive, and a bit of dyno time tuning around 25psi this car could easily see high 11's on its current setup.

Now im depressed...


Jason's car could rip my old car out of the hole.. But on the top end my car would walk his pretty hard..

Jason's own estimation was that I had maybe 20% more power....

yup, and stock down pipe, we are going back out next wednesday, i have a 3" downpipe flanged @ 2.5" that eliminates the cat, so im gonna throw that on there for next wednesday, I think im going to run 105 octane @ around 25lbs on the e3 and see what that nets me,,, im hoping to see high high high high 11's or atleast low low low low low low 12's.

you should come out johnathan,,, If i cant hit the 11's i think the car can and i might need someone to try to run it into the 11's for me.

That was w/ my car on 91 @ 15lbs boost knocking like a biotch,,, with my car sittin around 20 w/ 100 i would say mine would be slightly faster than yours,,, but if you were to run 100 and turn the bewst up on your v-trim, you could have had atleast 20% more power than me, judging by the butt dyno and pure guess of course.

There was a guy parked next to me in a blue evo I think he was clocking in 13.0 had some sort of blue plastic wrap on the bottom of his front bumper???
