Thread: 2 major things for me...both good+a pic

Last monday I ended up using some of my saved up money and finally made a purchase I'm happy with. I got a 2000 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-7R with a carbon fiber wrapped micron exhaust, polished frame, and a custom metallic green paint that fades to blue depending on your angle and how light is hitting it. Also a paint matching helmet. I'd like to note that it hauls a$$ enough for me. Here's a decent shot:



The other huge thing happened last friday..Let my girlfriend borrow my car and she picked up from school, and my car......was...well, it was basically graffiti'd in hearts and related things and in front of UTI she asked me to marry her. I said yes so now we're engaged and our wedding date is December 1st. Destination not set yet but probably going to be along the coast in or near san francisco.[/img]

and if she was the one wearing the pants, you know i wouldnt have that sexy bike right now... :shock: im getting my cycle permit next week. finally. i should have done it a long time ago.

but yeah she asked me the day after she turned 18. she wanted to make it surprising...and she definitely did.

and that ZX10 is awesome. One of my good friends dad has an 06 zx10 and dammit that thing is fast. tops out around 220. he's taken it to thunderhill i think and has gotten it to 200. but he cant ride it for a while cuz he broke his arm hang gliding. he's a cool crazy old guy.

What the hell, are we all getting bikes now? I'm picking up a '03 Ducati 996 from a guy in town. I wanted one right after high school but a $15k bike was out of the question. Should be fun!
