Default Some I came to the shocking reality...

Evo owners are just as ghetto as Honda owners and I've seen more janky Evo's than DSM's... And they think it's perfectly acceptable.
People in general are just asshats.

First it started with the Evo IX MR I saw at WORKS. I joined in with the other techs laughing at the car and how ghetto it was. Ziptied everything and the battery cables were hitting his shift linkage causing it not to shift properly. Had to be taken to WORKS to get fixed and put on the dyno. Made 10hp more than I did and he had cams and the FP green. Then I saw a car with the most EXTREME camber I've ever seen. It was squat down like a couple of sumo wrestlers were on top of it. He drives it on the street and doesn't take it to the track.
Then it ended with people drilling holes into their stock plastic BOV and putting screws in them to hold the spring down more so it won't leak.

I'm done working on other peoples' cars and talking about them.

im so sorry you had to see it all first hand...

i believe it is safe to say that we cant really put someone up or down right away because of what car they have...we can only put them up or (more frequently) down for the terror they make people see/hear on the street.

my car unfortunately, i feel to be right on the border line of good and bad. im proud of the work i've done to it, and i know it is all quality and paid more for better parts, however; i often find myself wishing i had a better car/platform to put my hard work and good taste into. yes, i was once an ignorant boy as well.

It was only a matter of time..

I was at the River on monday and one was parked there with flat black fenders, one blue door, chrome 18"s and a pep boys spoiler, all I could do was shake my head when a friend of mine asked me if that was an Evo, I replied "No man that's NOT an EVO.....thats a piece of shit!!" Then my beer swilling river trip began.

I SOOOOO don't miss working on these cars.

It doesn't matter what kind of car it is, I've seen some of the nastiest things around. I'm just done working on other peoples' stuff. I'll continue to work on my own, but I don't want to see anything else unless it's a good friend.

I've noticed that alot of Evo guys are former Honda owners that have moved into the latest new hotness also. I don't mind some zip ties, they're fine to a point, but it's mostly the silly ricer crap that's done to cars that ticks me off. It's sad to see cars like the Mustang and Evo go down hill with all the silly ricer crap now...unfortunately the new Camaro will become the next victim  (you want 20's whi'dat )

Hey dirty, how about one more 6-bolt swap for old times sake , summer's coming up and somebodies gotta need a perfectly good boat anchor :P

That's all you had to put man. We've all seen it. Doesn't matter what group or type of car it is. I'm into bikes now but HATE 95% of the fags I meet on crotch rockets. Young or old. The hundred buck a month club that thinks any bike is status or the high and mighty who use their entire check every month to support the newest and biggest bike they can't even ride, then bum rides all winter when it's snowing. People in general are just pathetic.
