i wonder how much the seats weigh compared to my seats in my GSX?
WAYYYY less that the 2g seats, I would say at least 40 or 50lbs

i was looking at some corbeau seats. i was thinking along the lines of some CR-1's. but those are freaking expensive! i also am not too sure about swapping over to cloth with the comfort of my powered leather seats :D

These don't provide a ton of lateral support and that is the reason that I'm getting rid of them. If anyone is interested in them let me know but i promised Slobo first dibs.

Well, I haven't been through a summer here yet, but I don't think it will be too much of an issue. My car rarely sits in the sun. Also, my old GST had cloth, and even though the quality of the leather in the GSX isn't that great, it just feels like a much nicer car.
Yeah, they come on the 2004/05 GSR and MR as options and I believe they are coming on the EVO IX as well.Driver and passenger seats combined?

Hmmm, I would guess that means the only way they'll be for sale used is if the car's totalled. On top of being rare, they'd probably cost a fortune.
But then, if you're ditching yours because they don't provide lateral support, then I probably wouldn't do this anyway. About the only positive are the guides for the harness.
Is your Evo a daily driver? You're not afraid of having a fixed, non-adjustable seat? I guess with a four door it isn't so much of a practicality issue.
