Default Where to get BG syncro shift or Redline MT90?

After looking around Sac, I did not succeed in finding BG syncro shift or Redline MT90 so I had to settle with Royal Purple Max-Gear with Synerlec. After reading a few posts and finding out that GL-5 is highly corrosive to our transmissions, I am gonna return the 3 qrts I purchased. So where can I get BG or Redline in Sac? Thanks

M&S Recycling used to carry it for a good price. Might try giving them a call or maybe oldirty will chime in.

I dont know about sacramento.. But in stockton Global Auto Parts sells redline..

You wanna run a combo tho..

    1 quart mtl
    the rest mt-90

so buy 1 quart of redline MTL and 2 quarts of Redline MT-90

voodoo magic.. worked better than straight bg synchroshift or bg+redline combos in my tranny

i have always used Pennzoil Synchromesh when i had my eclipses and never had a problem. It actually seemed to work better than the Mobile 1 gear oil. If i remember correctly, the Synchromesh is specifically designed to be used in a lot of Chrysler and GM tranny's including the DSM Manual Trannies.

I used Penzoils and GMs too and they seemed to work just as good as the BG I got from M&S.

Tognotti's on W. El Camino sells Redline. I'm pretty sure you can get synchromesh there as well.

    100% BG Syncroshift II here.......

I get it from the BG distributor, he has a few stops here in my town. I just call him up and he comes over to my house and drops it off.

He mentioned that he also has a lot of stops in downtown sac. You should go on the BG website. They have a listing of all of the shops that carry BG, by zipcode.

Its $14.00 a quart, or thats what I get it for.
    BIG PLANS.....STAY TUNED.....

Well, after picking up Red line from Summit in Sparks this last weekend I finally put in Red line MTL and MT90 x2 this evening and felt little difference to no difference. From a stand still, I still can't get it in first or second. But when the car is rolling I can only get it in second with no problem or grinding. All other gears work perfectly, even reverse. My clutch is fine and is installed properly. Do you think its worth trying BG syncro shift or just rebuild the transmission?
