    Default My car passed the windshield wiper test!

    Fixed major timing issue that ive had since the v-trim went on.. (Embarassing.. crank had skipped a tooth and I had compensated for it on the CAS unknowingly.)

    So cars all buttoned up.. fixed a boost leak.. Burned a new chip with a few tweaks on it..


    rolled onto the throttle in 1st turning left onto a street and grabbed second hard.. 15 lbs of boost on the v-trim.. Broke all 4 loose got a little sideways and kicked the wipers on.. Im happy...

    (Kinda makes me wanna verify the torque on my headstuds tho.. hehe)

    At some point im going to have your spare valve cover powder coated, tthen you can have the one I have on powder coated, that will be a good time for you to retorque, thats whwen I will also do mine.

    oh also were you still inside of the turn when you hit 2nd and broke loose or were you already straight?

    I was just exiting the turn.. Just enough momentum in the rear to let the tires get loose.. (Kinda on purpose) But still.. 245 wide tires all around :P The ass end kicked out right at the end and i kinda crabbed down the highway through the first half of second gear.. Right rear tire actually hit the rumble strip and got a little hop action goin on..


    :P

    (And youve personally felt my car break all 4 in a straight line in second while YOU were driving.. and that was pre-fixups heheh.)

    my wipers would always turn on when shifting to second. id never spin them though just cherp.

    What else is done to your v trim setup? I'm also running one its just nice to see what a local v trim guy is doing with theirs..

    Yes, I have broke all 4 loose in a straight line it was very interesting, and began my lust for a 1g,,,,

    Done?!?! Yah right!!! Betcha $50 I can get you to modify something else within the next,,, oh lets say 3 months!

    NOOoooooo..

    (Well besides the quiet muffler and turndown.. Thats not really a mod.. Its de-tuning? right?)

    Ok ok ok ..

    and im planning on switching back to an electronic boost controller.. this manual crap is killing me..
