    Default I own a V8 Again.. heh..

Welp.. stupid 1g pissed me off again.. (In the problem diagnostics section)

So i started thinking about a stealth v8 i could play with.......

Something comfortable as a DD (Sick of no AC and solid Motor mounts, 7lb flywheel on a 2600 lb clutch through stop and go traffic)

So i wanted something that begged for a charger.. So I sorta started thinking about DOHC Mod's from ford.. But didnt want a cobra..

    Muahah..

    97 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC.. DOHC 32v Mod 4.6 290hp 295tq

Weighs 3700 lbs (heavy but no heavier than a 3000gt)

Luxury car with HID's, Computer controlled air ride auto leveling suspension (which is funny.. it lowers the car a coupla inches above 55 mph) and all sorts of other random ass features and creature comforts..

Shouldnt attract much popo attention either..

Should be a fun DD / Beater..

And Oh yes.. It will have a Supercharger.. Ohh it will..

    * Edit.. Its fun as hell with the traction control off.. Just stab the gas from dig and it lays stripe as long as its in 1st gear. heheh

heh i just totalled one of these out at our bodyshop, same exact car same exact everything but its a 3 stage red color. Idiot got side swiped on the freeway going 70 mph by an integra... For the age of these cars, they do have a lot of cool features and such for being in the 90's.

If you car has the electrocromatic mirrors, DO NOT BREAK THEM. When i had to write the estimate for the car we have, it costs nearly 800 per mirror assembly...

nice car, but PITA to work on. BTW, if your looking for the fuel filter, it's in the LF fender. good luck with it, I would hardly call it a beater though :P . a datsun 510, or 280 zx, a iroc camaro, a 1gnt or 2gnt, a cb7 accord. those are beaters. good luck with your new "beater".

Ahh I must be gettin old too bcuz I dream of the day my DSM will have no rattles, quite high flowing exhaust, and a smooth idle...

I remember when it was fun to go through parking garages and set off alarms... now I just want a quite cabin w/ tool playing softly in the back ground (tool?? yes tool! hahaha)

Oh yah and another advantage is in your old age it will be easier for you to break in that nice large back seat! Just remember to use some good industrial grade degreaser to get all of that used car amorall out of there before you loose a hip!

i think he's waiting to save up the $4800 it's costs for a kenne bell just like i am. dam those chargers are expensive. anyways i just ordersed $3k worth in parts for my stang. nothing performance yet, ordered some suspension components, wheels and tires, some front end cosmetics and a short shifter. wanted to get it looking better before i get the motor in. parts are on the way so i'll post pics once they are on.
