    ha, im back, been out for a while just on my daily grind, but im back... again

    oh and i bought a 98 red jeep grand cherokee laredo for my daily since the talon...... wait for it............... is broke again

    alternator, and i think the flywheel is coming loose

    so it'll be a while before its fixed again :cry:

    ah that sucks man. What flywheel did you use? Was there a fidenza in there?

    nah, looked to be stock but i forgot to put threadlock on the bolts, so i think they are backing out, im getting a NASTY vibration above 1.5k rpm

    does the vibration change at all if you depress the clutch pedal?

    Im not saying its ok to not use threadlocker but if you set the bolts to the proper torque on a stock flywheel they shoudnt back out....


    Hows your balance shaft belt???????

    Oil pump drive gear is 180 out,


    Dude.....you bought a Jeep as a "Reliable" daily driver???? :shock:


    but yea check that timing belt.
    and change the trans fluid in that jeep........twice

    Id say +1 on the oil pump gear but you said it just started outta nowhere or its happened since you did your t-belt?

    Word, I did it by mistake. I could have SWORN the sproket was supposed to fall away from the alignment mark lol
