    Calling it a "sleeper" is subjective. Once it pulls up to you you can tell its not asleep but very much awake.. and grumpy..

    OMFG, i remember thinking of this idea when i had my 87 voyager. from the research i did though, it would be a total bch to pull off (3si tt motor sits opposite of minivan motor, matching mitsu harness with chrysler harness, etc.) BUT, anything can be done. how come this hasn't been done yet??

    btw, going by the dimensions, the 3si tt motor WILL fit in the chrysler minivans engine bay even though the blocks are very different.

    Why not just start with a turbo caravan? (then you can use a 2.5 dodge motor. Came in everything, including the caravan, the lebaron, daytona, etc...) I used to have a daytona with a 2.5 turbo... was a fun little car, all stock, biggest limitation was the 8 valve pushrod head... put a DOHC head off a 2.2 or 2.4 neon (there's like 2 or 3 holes that need to be drilled to match up water jackets) and you'd have a much happier breathing motor with a TON or torque.
    Mods:

    Walboro 255/PTE 680cc injectors
    FMIC/14b turbo
    3" GM MAF with translator
    Stainless brake and clutch lines
    eibach springs, 2" drop, camber kit

    I didnt know they had a turbo caravan,,,

    but dont the 3si and the older caravans both run the 6g73??

    yup, the block casting is different though. its not like a n/a 4g63 and a turbo 4g63 for dsms. think of the differences between an n/a 4g63 from a 1g dsm compared to the 4g63 in the new evos.

    the ones with wood panels are more sleeper than that volvo.
