    Default Newb

Hey guys, I'm new to the site. I've had a DSMs since 99; until I bought Jonathans old red colt and swapped everything into it from my 91gsx.

I just drove it again for the first time in months...

I learned to TIG on this car. Be nice :)

    Runs much better now :)

Ah yes, Jonathan's old colt project. I like the new engine mods. Not a big fan of the new front, but I guess it's the only way to give access to the bigger fmic. Looking forward to dyno #'s on the new turbo setup.

Yeah, it had that bumper on it when I got it. Yes the stock colt bumper would have forced me to go much smaller on the ic.

Damn I cant see the vid from the shop!

How did that drive to SD go?

I bet that fuel pump made you go def! I went a little overkill with that thing.

Yea that front bumper is the factory Japanese style fiberglass repro.

it has a wayy bigger opening and it does not slant in like the factory us turbo bumper.

The drive went well other than it was hotter than hell out. I hauled serious ass, passing 8 to 10 cars at a time when I got an opening.

Yeah, the pump is loud when you first get in the car but with the windows down and radio on I don't even notice it. I'm glad it has the pump really; I'll never need to upgrade it...
