    or will shit fall out and go places?

    the stock FPR??? Or an aftermarket one? Most aftermarket ones are designed to come apart (just remove all tension on the spring via the adjuster first so you dont launch the cover when the last screw comes out).. The stocker is all pressed and bent together.. i dont know how youd put it back together in one piece and still retain the exact same dimensions so as not to change the base fp..

    I pulled apart my AFPR to fix a leak. No biggy.
