if you unbolt the lower bolt that holds the shock strust in, you can push the control arm lower and it helps to pull out the axle.the axle goes through the arm. kno wwhatta mean?
pretty much what happened is the bolt that holds the control arm, i guess down... came off, causing the half shaft to snap from the wheel collapsing.. a picture is worth a thousand words in this case, and unfortunatly I don't have any. I recently had the dealership replace the clutch and flywheel about 3 weeks ago, I also had the wheel bearing replaced about 4 months ago on the same side(drivers side). Would either instance have anything to do with what happened?? There was nothing that I could see that was keeping that bolt from backing itself off and causing all of this, no cotter pin or whatever. Would either install need that bold to be removed?? Any thoughts on this?
