SMOG TIME! Know any good exhaust shop for cat and install?
Does anyone know a good, reputable exhaust shop or parts vendor in the bay area where I can get a high flow catalytic convertor and have it installed at? I've seen some catco catalytic convertors on ebay but not sure about those. Which catalytic convertor are you guys using? Any help would be great! Thanks.
Catco's suck fatty balls.. Hardcore.. I had to hollow mine out after 10,000 miles because it started breaking up and rattling around.. (The honeycomb)
The heat shield fell apart after a month.. I had to use sheet metal screws to put it back together..
Im running a magnaflow 3" cat now.. (carsound) working pretty good so far.. 30,000 miles and one passed smog

Thanks for the advice Ben. Anyone know of a good exhaust shop? How about Muffler Tech? Does anyone have a stock GST catalytic converter and downpipe I can borrow to smog my car with?
