Thread: are you as angry as i? ... probly not

ok so today i managed to wrestle my 190lph into the car and get everything hooked up and ready to start the car and see if my rich issue is resolved and as i turn the key............

there is a pinhole in my fuel line that i must have rubbed open when i was twisting the line around
and now im trying epoxy and everything to try and close the hole but it just keeps getting through

i hope i can deal with it tomorrow as there are no dsm shells around to be heard of to get a new line off of, im thinking i might try and replace the hose with a custom AN hose i suppose i could make i just need to figure out what size the fittings are.... any input?

Those fittings are a weird metric size and I have not yet found the right one, I was going to make a swivel fitting an line to sell just for that line on 2g's,

oh and if you take it off from the bottom you will not need to twist it up, next time..

oh i know, the vfaq says to unbolt the bottom one, but it is rust welded together, so i ended up twisting the hell out of the line, but............. problem solved, i cut the line in the middle, got under the car and added a double nipple w/ plenty of new hose attached, and a nipple fitting on the outlet so now the hose slides on and off secured with hose clamps.. no leaks!


but im still running ritch, a little less, but back to the drawing board, ill throw up some pics of my hoodtastic install when i can find my camera batteries

That line is pressurized mike, so be careful. Once you hit WOT, those clamps better be on there super-duper tight.
