Default Where to take car shells? Who gives the most per pound?

Right now I know some people that have cars/shells just taking up space out in the country and they don't want them anymore.

Whats a good place to take a car to sell it for metal?

Who gives the most per pound?

If it's worth it, I might just take a bunch of cars this saturday coming up and make a few bucks.
probably better then taking them to a junk yard or pick and pull

Most places are funny about taking shells.. You have to have the title for the car..

    What kind of shells?

I took a sawzall to my 90 gsx and filled a truck with parts, down to schnitzer steel. I think they paid like $70 a ton or something. If there are any DSM's I might take the shells and do all the cutting, if you can deliver them. (I'm in the process of moving to a house on 6 acres, so I got a place to put a couple cars while I butcher on them)

Jon, does the car have to be cut up? Will they accept a whole shell?
    Do they accept old trucks?

$70 bucks a ton? Damn, thats not bad at all. That means an old chevy pickup with the bed full of metal will weigh quite a bit.
I can get the titles for the cars. Does Snitzer steel require a title for the shells?

Honestly didn't ask. I just didn't have resources to take the car as a whole, so we cut it up. I've also heard they pay less when you have a full car, cause they have to pay to dispose of fluids and such, I'd argue that I already drained them... if you have the titles, I'd bring 'em with. Give 'em a call first, they're off folsom blvd between hazel and sunrise.
