    Default broken door handle

    I got out of the car, set the alarm, and pulled on the handle to make sure the door is locked and the driver's side door handle breaks off! I guess this is common issue for DSMers cause I found a "how to" entry on dsmtuners for replacing door handles easily. Problem is I'm trying to find a door handle locally. The Mitsubishi dealership doesn't seem to have the handle in stock. I'm going to check Pick n Pull and M&S Recycling in the morning. Do you guys know any other local places I could call to check? Also, if anyone who could help me today (10/27) with the installation of the handle would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

    I have new ones and used ones here at the shop,

    what color is your car........wait duh......silver


    The new ones I have are black and $55

    and the used ones are $45

    here at M&S

    dont you love when that happens? lol that was the very first problem i ran into with my car...one day after i bought it, i dropped it off to get checked out and one second later im holding a handle.

    the code should be on a sticker somewhere in the glove compartment. or you can stop at a kragen or something and they can look up the location of the code on your car.

    Its under the hood next to battery area...A52A that should be your paint code
