Default Woo! I'm accepted to UTI.

Got an acceptance letter today. I'm looking at starting Dec. 11th. I toured the campus a couple weeks ago, and i'm not gonna lie - i'm pretty stoked. Maybe I can start MAKING money doing things to cars.../fixing them at a dealership lol.

18k can buys that place some nice stuff,

The only thing is any shop you work in will not have all the crazy stuff that school has.

I personally know a few of the teachers and some are great and some should be teaching people how to change oil.

well my ultimate goal is to open my own shop with one of my best friends....we would be focusing mainly on performance, and the secondary being cosmetic stuff like paint, body, audio and interior etc. Of course there would be more than just my friend and I working there, so keep in touch guys

Thats the dream anyway. I'm sure I'll be working at a dealership somewhere until we have the money to get our own shop.

    Good goals!!!

My one important sugestion, is take every oppertunity to make connections with vendors, other custom car builders,

Just pertty much anyone who has been in the buisness with a good rep.

At UTI thats one thing you should be able to take full advantage of.

You will soon see where the money is. come out with something new that appeals to everyone and watch the $$$ roll in.

Oh 26"s on 78' Olds don't appeal to everyone HAHAHA
