So some of you may know that the last attempt to bring life back to the GSX didn't go so well. And though the jury is still diliberating the exact reason for it's failure I've gotten back into it and will start with the assembly when I get back next week.
This time however there's gonna be a couple key things I'm gonna 4x check before I even think about starting this baby up. So here's the updated version of what's going into the beeyatch.
-2.4L G4CS Block (Machined and "Assembled' by COMPTEC USA)
-Has the standard stroker set-up (weisco pistons, eagle rods, ARP everything, fluidampr pulley, New everything but crank)
-Stage IV Head (Built by Polk performance then updated by COMPTEC...Had them throw some crower springs/retainers in)
-Keeping with the SBR GT11 Turbo...for now.
-DSM Link
-SBR FMIC
and the usual bunch o' goodies (External Oil cooler, GM MAF, gauges o'rama, blah blah blah)
I'll have about 2 weeks from when I get back from the trip I'm on right now before I have to go on the road again. So I'm hoping to have everything assembled and the engine in the car by the time I leave again then start working out all the minor stuff when I get back.
I'll post pics and progress when I get back and start assembly....
Just thought I'd share
