    Default Projector Screen Setup!!!!!!!!

    Ok,
I purchased a projector(Sony Bravia Vpl-aw15 HD) few weeks ago and it came with a 80" screen. Even though 80" was enough for me, it had a fat wrinkle down the middle that started to annoy me.

So i bought a 92" fixed frame screen from ebay for 210 shipped.

    came to me like this

    Unwrapped the boxes

Started assembling the frame corners one by one

Screw in the screws to each corner to secure the frame and we get this

Lay it down face forward and now its time for the screen, rolled it out to the back of the frame.

Theres 4 rods that come with the kit one for each "pocket" of the screen (sides). the rods then snap into the frame. The last two needed a bit of force on purpose to pull the wrinkles and then there is little latches that hold it in place. and we get this

Then mounting to the wall. Level it, mark it, screw mounting brackets in place, and hang up.

    and were done!!!

really like it, its still not obnoxiously big but not small either.

you cant really tell the quality of the picture with this pic, but it does 720p and looks better than my 42" plasma.

Next i need a better way to mount the projector since at the moment its just on a table lol:p

yeah its ran from a dvi to hdmi. from my pc, and i have a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. i dont even use my laptop anymore. everytime im online at home im on the projector. lol

The projector and 80" screen cost me 500 bucks off someone on craigslist. and the new screen is 210 so im in it 710. plus my logitech speakers that were like 170. its only two speakers and a sub but they sound really good since the speakers are set up right behind you.

im honestly thinking of using the extra 80" screen and mounting it in my room, and get another projector. lol
