I was pulled over for speeding, and the cop tries getting all tough with me lol. "You know why I pulled you over?" "I have no idea, why?" "well you were speeding thats why, LOOK AT THAT! you have all those tach gauges and racing harness" "oh they came with the car" 8) "If you want to pretend you're mario andretti you do it in the country where there is no one around!" "oh I was messing around with my boost gauge and left the boost all the way up and the turbo is boosting way too much" "boost controller?" "yes" "well its working buddy" "thanks" "you ever had a speeding ticket before?" "yes but not in a while" "well im going to write you a ticket to remind you how expensive they are" "k" Goes to his car comes back........."consider yourself lucky, I have alot of calls tonight so you better drive slower" "mmkay" So I took off speeding in the other direction :P

Someone had told me because of where I work im less likely to get a ticket?!? My employer I guess fixes all the departments vehicles and donates money to them and stuff, I always thought nothing of it, but this is the third time i was speeding in front of a cop and should have gotten a ticket but didnt, 3 times!! They take my dl, insurance, and reg, and come back and give me a warning? hmm. interesting. :idea: And i dont mean 5 mph over the limit either i mean WOT in third.

If the cop doesn't have a hate for car enthusiests or isn't in a bad mood and he doens't think you're doing much more than 10-15 over, they'll usually just run everything to make sure you're clear and let you go with some big talk. It's the cops that are in a bad mood, hate being a cop, or hate car enthusiests (or just sport compacts) that I end up hating right back as I drive away with 5 different citations :( :( :evil:

lol one time i was getting smart with a cop and he wrote me up for EVERYTHING, modded exhaust, mod to the stock airbox, clear corners, blue bulbs, speeding (even though he didnt know exactly how fast i was going, he just kept trying to get me to admit how fast but i didnt) I was kinda shaking my head laughing while signing the ticket, he replied with a "Oh you think this is pretty funny huh?" I said "a little" He angrily ripped the ticket off the clipboard and said "you have a nice day" with a smart-ass smile on his face. The ticket was dropped. 8)

It's been 8 years since I've had a moving violation, and during that time I've only been pulled over (and cited) for not having a front plate. After a couple of those I caved and put the plate back on. Don't need to get pulled over for something as lame as that and risk getting busted for all kinds of other crap.

What can I say, I'm a responsible driver.

That no front plate law is bs, the new corvettes dont come with a place to put in a front plate, do they get pulled over?!?!? The montecarlo's also come the same way a cover that goes where the non-existent front plate goes. But because we drive mitsubishi's we get the tickets. :evil:
