After years of searching for THE perfect Conquest or Starion to build the first LS-1 Powered Conquest
A guy called and said he had two, I picked them both up for $1200
One black, one yellow
the yellow one was pretty rough but the black, the holy grail!!!
1988' Conquest TSi
Black on Black
117k original miles
Car had a 4k paint job a year ago
Garaged its entire life, weather stripping and trim are PERFECT
I found a home for my LS-1!!!!!!!!!!



These were the HRE's that were going on my 1g but I am luckly I did not get new hoops for the rears
17"x11"'s!!!!!! with a 315/35/17 tire ought to hook it up nice!!!!

Wow, that's a great find 8) . I have a friend looking for a 2g under 8K, I keep telling him that he could find a hooked up 1g (that would probably need a little work ) for that price. Let me know if you really want to sell your 1g though and I'll see what's up, I've already told him of your projects and handy work, which he was impressed with, so who knows.

Yea I will be selling my 1g eventually, the sale of the 240 is going to fund the Conquest project.
I have pretty much all the drivetrain, just cooling, tires, brakes and suspension are all I need to come up with.
Suspension on those Starions are garbage, I have to build the shock bodies my self and get a bilstien insert with a coil perch welded to the strut. They have a steering box (eeewwww!!) just like an old truck

Your getting to be worse then me with your car buying habits. Great find! There have been a lot of vehicle transactions going on lately around here.
