9.997@145.13 is a new best for Jake Montogmery up here. 1G AWD with pretty common mods really, nothing crazy and insane besides the turbo and amount of tuning put into it. Just goes to show you, if you've got the turbo AND KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT, you can go kinda fast :P

I think I remember talking to him on tuners (if its the same evileagle) way back in the day about his setup/plans. It's amazing to see it put that kinda power down!

Local? I thought Jake was from Boise, Idaho....I talked to him a couple times on tuners.

Do you know if he finally got rid of his 2g exhaust manifold?

Why did they give him that disqualification notice at the end?

Is there a cage requirement for sub 10 second runs or something?! and he didn't have it or what?

most tracks require you to have a license + cage for sub 10 sec runs.

Yeah, he's in Boise but takes his car to Spokane Raceway Park sometimes. He's been talking about bringing it up this month now that he clicked off a 9 so that should be fun to watch a 9sec daily driven 1G rip down the track!

Yea sub 9.50's and you need a NHRA licence
