Default AMS works their magic once again:

    Thanks to evolutionm.net

"...we have had a customers car here at the shop for the past few months. Actually Two of them. Well the first of the two made it to the rollers last night.

Anthonys Black and Silver Two Toned car from FL.

The big mods were as follows:

    AMS GT45R Turbo Kit
    AMS 2.3 Liter Stroker Shortblock
    Cosworth Race head
    AMS Alcohol injection Kit
    AMS Race FMIC
    AMS 1000HP Fuel System
    AMS 4" Race Exhuast system
    Jun 272 Cams
AMS VSR Intake manifold with Piping
Shepherd Racing Transmission and Transfer Case
    DSS Stage V Axles
    AEM EMS
    AIM MXL Strada Dash
And a slew of other small modifications.

Well as we found out last night our Dyno software is limited to 1000 WHP!

Even on the lowest correction factor (the one that reads the lowest HP number) it still Broke 1000 AWHP! Untill we can get this software uploaded we wont know how much higher it went. Somewhere between 1000 and 1100.

Here are the files in STD Correction Factor and in SAE Correction (the way we usually post our numbers)

Mark is editing the video footage right now and we will get that up as soon as we can.

For now here are the dyno sheets. I dont think I will be able to get the runfiles up for a good while. Martin is abusing the dyno..... with the OTHER 45R customer Car."

I don't know if any of the AMS guys has the balls to drive that car at its full potential. Even a 10 second car is hard to drive, if any of you have seen Evil_ Eagle's video of his 10 second run, you know what I'm talking about.

    Not a AWD car

Helen Keller could make a clean 9 second pass in a AWD car

a 2WD car is wayyy harder

the AMS guys drive the worlds quickest and fastest Evo VIII with no nitrous which runs a 9.41.
i know Eric and Martin over there. Eric drives a white 1g with a 2.3L stroker and GT35R everyday to work. Martin owns the AMS Evo and drives it with a GT35R on the street, a GT40 for street races, and a GT42 for the track and is stepping up the GT45.

Anthony and Chris from FL (the record holders for reaching the high HP levels on a street driven Evo) drive their cars on the street also.
