Default Thoughts on the Saturn Sky?

Maybe I'm ghey for liking it, but for some reason I really think this car looks DOPE!

Only problem is it's piss slow. Maybe Jonathan can figure out if a 4g63 can be fitted :) Besides the company and speed, what do you guys think of it asthetically? The price is right if you're just looking for a sexy roadster imo.

Well, my buddy's been talking about that car for a while now... doesn't it come with a supercharged 2.2 ecotec? I thought it was a light car and was supposed to be fairly quick (for a factory GM other than the 'vette)

I personally like the HotRod solstace better... http://www.hotrod.com/projectbuild/h...inal_assembly/

But the Sky is pretty hot

Looks like they are shipping these off to Europe as the Opel GT...I'll admit it, I'd probably debage the Saturn in trade for the Opel GT...just sounds cooler haha

Looks wayy better that the Solstice, I have to give it to GM on this car the did a killer job on the suspension and chassis development. Yea they come with two engine options, a NA 2.2 Ecotec and the Redline Sky with the 2.0 turbo Ecotech

I would leave the Ecotec engine in there they are built pretty damn well, or yea stick a big inch LSx engine in there
but seeing how wild the RX-7 is to drive I would be a bit hesitant on making any more that 500hp in that little car, with the wheel base that car would steer with the rear tires which is good some times and not so good other times,

I love how HotRod said that the Solstice has a "Stock Camed LS7".......B$%SH&T you hear that thing idle!!!! HAHAHAH

I know the LS7 has a big factory cam but that thing is WAYYYY bigger than a stock cam.

Oh well I want to drive it!!

both the Sky and Solstice are pretty neat little cars. i priced out the Solstice how id want it(black exterior, black leather interior, 5spd) and it was like 20k and 210 a month with 2k down. would make for a fun daily driver.

the sky looks like, at certain angles, like a newer vette just shortened with more pronounced styling. if the miata was a mini viper, this would easily be a mini-vette.
