Default Where to buy a helicoil kit?

    Anyone know where I can buy a Heli-coil kit for a M8 X 1.25 pitch?

I have a broken ex. mani stud, the one closest to the timing belt. I drilled it through and used an E-Z out extrator and it wouldn't come out. It was broken just below flush with the head. I started to drill it out completely, but I'm gunna need to get a heli-coil kit to be able to use my M8 X 1.25 pitch SS stud in there.

Please, if you don't have any advice related to this issue, don't post in here.

If you know where I can find a heli-coil kit locally, I'd appreciate the info.

    Thanx

To answer your question to keep the mods happy, Napa auto parts has an assortment of helicoils. Try there, but you will just have to pay sticker price.

Buying it is one thing, drilling and tapping the head and not screwing it up is a whole nother ball game.

I'll post whatever the f@c< I want in here, its a public forum. But to answer your question to keep the mods happy, Napa auto parts has an assortment of helicoils. Try there, but they don't take lowballing too well so you will just have to pay sticker price.

I've done this before for a friend of mine a while back. It came out great. I already drilled out the broken ex mani stud. I just need to drill it a little bit bigger, with the drill bit that comes in the Heli-coil kit.

Thanx for the name of the business Jonathan.
